CREWLOVE

Growing up three miles from the White House gave me a deep desire to learn how laws and policies were being made.

Residing so close to the powers at be, but somehow still feeling powerless, ignited something within me. From a very young age, I became infatuated with fashion, politics, and the inner workings of the justice system. This is why I’m passionate about studying Political Science and ultimately Law.

For as long as I can remember, every year for career day when all the other children were dressed up as firemen, athletes, policemen etc. I had on a suit and tie, because I was a lawyer. I’m not sure if it was the amount of Law & Order episodes that I would binge watch, but I was in awe. I would imitate the lawyers cross examinations and closing arguments. I would even line up my stuff animals, who would pose as a jury of my peers.

My passion for law grew as I got older, and my love for clothing sparked like never before! It’s inspiring to see how a person can make a $40 outfit look like a $1,000 outfit. Out of that birthed Crew Love brand , which includes a Fashion Brand, Promotion Company and of course Philanthropy. In addition, studying & maintaining a 4.0 GPA at the illustrious North Carolina A&T State University, has allowed me to be surrounded by some of the most brilliant minds and amazing professors in the Political Science department. Learning the intricacies of government legislation along with policy making has brought me closer to my goal of becoming a lawyer and entrepreneur.
